Abstract
Basal cell adenomas are rare benign tumors representing 1 to 3.7% of all salivary gland tumors. We report two cases of basal cell adenoma of the membranous type, one of which is associated with a sarcoïd granuloma.
Case 1: A 59-year-old woman, 8 Gestitude, 7 parity, with mobile parotid formation measuring approximately 3 cm, no local inflammatory signs. Histology surgery showed a membranous basal cell adenoma associated with a sarcoïd granuloma.
Case 2: A 71-year-old man with a history of trepanation of a sub-maxillary sinusitis with a left parotid swelling evolving for over 20 years. Surgery and histological analysis showed a membranous basal cell adenoma.
Conclusion: Basaloïd adenoma is a rare benign epithelial tumor of the salivary glands. It is mainly found in the parotid gland. Its membranous form can cause recurrence and malignant degeneration.
