The historic Chinatown district in the “Sandwich Islands” of Honolulu, Hawaii has been plagued by illegal drugs, gambling, and prostitution since the early 1800s. However, new psychologically addictive arcade-style tabletop video gambling devices have become the dominant instrument for generating illegal revenue in State of Hawaii. This study attempted to document the motivation to gamble using these machines and to examine the role of illegal game rooms in facilitating pathological gambling addiction. The criminal justice system of Hawaii is rife with corruption, misconduct, and incompetence, enabling Chinese crime syndicates to flourish. This study combined police science and sociological intelligence perspectives to show that China is waging insurgent warfare on the streets of Honolulu. This state-sponsored communist terrorism entails contactless irregular warfare involving the deployment of mentally compulsive gambling machines, the distribution of the addictive drug fentanyl as a lethal chemical weapon, and the spread of propaganda constituting psychological warfare targeting the Hawaiian populace via the circulation of pro-China, anti-American newspapers.
