Nanotechnology and its Contribution to Technological Development

Abstract
This article aims to present the contribution of nanotechnology to technological development in the fields of medicine and health (nanomedicine), electronics, computing and telecommunications, energy and sustainability, the environment and water purification and agribusiness and food, as well as the future perspectives for nanotechnology.
